Privacy Policy

Pull Tab Finder is a directory of licensed charitable gaming locations. We built it to need as little of your data as possible. No account is required to use the app, and we never collect your name or contacts. Nothing we collect is sold or used for advertising.

Location

With your permission, the app uses your device's location for two things: centering the map near you, and recording whether you were at a venue when you confirmed or corrected it (on-site reports carry more weight). Map searches send the coordinates of your current map view to our servers to return nearby locations; those coordinates are used to answer the search and are not stored. We do not build a history of your position. If you add a missing location, the pin coordinates you place become part of that venue's public listing. You can use the map and search without granting location access.

Community fixes and additions

When you suggest a fix, confirm pull tabs at a venue, or add a location, we store the change, a timestamp, and a random identifier created by the app for your device. The identifier is used for rate limiting and moderation. It is not tied to your name, email, phone number, or any account, and we make no attempt to connect it to you.

Feedback

If you send feedback from the app, we store your message. Including an email address is optional; if you add one, we use it only to reply.

Crash reports and analytics

The app uses Google Firebase for crash reporting, performance monitoring, and usage analytics (for example, which screens are used and how often). This data includes device information and app-instance identifiers, is not linked to your identity, and is retained by Firebase for limited periods (crash data about 90 days, analytics up to 14 months). The app contains no ads and no advertising identifiers.

Third-party services

Maps are rendered by the Google Maps Platform, which processes map interactions under Google's privacy policy. The website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic.

Waitlist

If you join the list on our website, we store the email address you provide and use it only to tell you about Pull Tab Finder news. Ask us to remove it at any time.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to erase anything above at any time. See Delete Your Data for the steps, what gets removed, and timelines.

Age

Pull Tab Finder is intended for adults of legal charitable gaming age (18+ in most states) and is not directed at children.

Selling data

We do not sell your personal information. Full stop.
